Two UGA football players were arrested Saturday on alcohol-related charges.  A backup tailback and a starting split end have been suspended from team activities.

The players were arrested early Saturday morning after their vehicle was pulled over by campus police.  The driver was charged with DUI, underage possession of alcohol, following too closely, leaving the scene of an accident, violation of the "move over law," and violation of a learner's permit.  The passenger was charged with minor in possession of alcohol.

The arrests of the players were just days after the UGA Athletic Director was arrested for DUI.  He later resigned.
