A Cherokee County school spokesman was pulled over and arrested for DUI while wearing the sheriff's pants.

The 40 year old man was arrested December 17 after someone called the police to report someone driving dangerously.  The incident report says the man was coming from the sheriff's house and was wearing the sheriff's pants he had borrowed.  He stated he had borrowed the sheriff's pants when he stayed at the sheriff's house during a snowstorm.

Police found several beer bottle caps in the pockets of the pants he was wearing.  The suspect will have a meeting on Friday January 8 to determine whether or not he will keep his job.
